Crafty Beer Girls & Ladies That Beer Big Beery Meet-up – London – May 12, 2018

On Saturday, May 12th, The Crafty Beer Girls (London) and Ladies That Beer (Liverpool) are joining forces at The BottleShop: Bermondsey for the first ever Ladies Big Beery Meet-up.

This event will showcase 6 beers brewed by women across the UK – including the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day beers from Wild Card Brewery and Neptune Brewery.

There will also be a beer history talk given by Natalya Watson about the advances in beer over the last 100 years (as it’s been 100 years since (most) women got the vote here in the UK). We’ll talk about hop breeding, the development of Belgium’s first strong golden ale, beer in cans, Belgium’s first female master brewer and bourbon barrel ageing.

Ticket price includes your first half pint, Natalya’s time and any left over costs will be donated to a women’s charity.
