ABV Beer Festival, Belfast
Natalya Watson, Certified Cicerone®
Ever get confused by all the abbreviations on beer labels these days? From ABV to IBU, now we’re seeing descriptors like BA, TA, NEIPA, HBC, DDH, and Brett. What do they all mean?
We’ll make sense of these acronyms and abbreviations while tasting examples of the styles they’ve given rise to – a barrel-aged beer, New England IPA and a beer fermented with Brettanomyces. You’ll be speaking like a beer geek in no time!
Head on over to ABV Festival’s website and pick up a ticket for Session #3. (You’ll get access to the festival, a branded glass, and a beer list.)
